A lot of funds founded well after the death of the flip phone are gaining traction. Blend, operator of an online platform for lenders to speed up and simplify applications for mortgages and consumer loans, raised $130 million in a Series E round led by General Atlantic and Temasek. The round brings total financing for the seven-year-old, San Francisco-based company to $310 million.
